Accessibility Statement

Effective: October 15, 2025Last updated: September 9, 2026

1. Our commitment

House & Moonlight Holdings is committed to providing a website and client experience that can be used by people with a broad range of abilities, technologies, and access needs. Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time certification, and we intend to consider it as the website and our services evolve.

Our goal is to support recognized accessibility practices, including relevant aspects of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, where reasonably applicable to this website.

2. Measures used on this website

The website is designed with semantic headings, descriptive navigation labels, keyboard-focus indicators, readable contrast, responsive layouts, descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and controls that do not rely solely on color. Forms use associated labels, required-field behavior, status messaging, and logical reading order.

Motion effects are decorative. The site recognizes the user’s reduced-motion preference and limits or removes nonessential transitions and scroll-based movement when that preference is enabled. Core content and service-selection functions remain available without hover interaction.

3. Keyboard navigation

Interactive controls are intended to be reachable and usable with a keyboard. Visible focus styles help identify the currently active link, button, or form control. The project inquiry can be opened from service buttons or the final call to action, completed through labeled controls, and closed with the provided close control or Escape key.

If browser extensions, theme modifications, or third-party applications interfere with keyboard behavior, please tell us which page, control, browser, and device were involved so we can investigate.

4. Visual presentation

Text sizes adapt to different screen widths, and the layout is designed to avoid horizontal page scrolling at common viewport sizes. Users can generally enlarge text through browser zoom. Important text is presented as text rather than embedded only in images. Decorative images may have empty alternative text so they do not create unnecessary screen-reader announcements.

The website uses dark colors, high-contrast light text, and a restrained blue accent. Individual operating-system contrast modes or browser overrides may change the intended appearance while preserving access to content.

5. Animation and motion

The site includes an animated floating navigation, layered hero movement, reveal transitions, and a horizontal presentation of part of the services section on larger screens. These effects are not required to understand the content. On smaller screens, the services are presented in a conventional vertical sequence. Users who enable “Reduce Motion” in their operating system should receive substantially reduced animation.

If motion remains uncomfortable or creates a barrier despite these controls, contact us and we will provide the relevant service information in a simpler format.

6. Forms and communication

The inquiry form requires a name, business email, company, service selection, project description, and acknowledgment of the Privacy Policy. The submit button remains unavailable until required information is present. After submission, a text confirmation is displayed without forcing a page redirect.

Users should not include sensitive personal or regulated information in the form. If the form is not accessible with your technology, you may contact us using the plain-text email or phone information below and request a reasonable alternative communication method.

7. Third-party content and platform limitations

This website is built on Shopify and may include platform components, fonts, or other services controlled by third parties. Although we aim to choose and configure these components responsibly, some accessibility characteristics may be outside our direct control. Third-party updates can also change behavior after testing.

We welcome reports about third-party functions used on our website and will evaluate reasonable corrective steps, alternatives, or provider escalation.

8. Compatibility

The website is intended to work with current versions of major browsers and commonly used assistive technologies. Very old browsers, unsupported operating systems, unusual combinations of browser extensions, or disabled core web technologies may produce reduced functionality. Updating the browser or trying another current browser may resolve some technical issues.

9. Known limitations and continuing review

Complex motion and large editorial typography can create challenges when websites are heavily zoomed or custom styles are applied. We use responsive sizing, overflow protection, and mobile layout changes to reduce those risks. Generated photographic artwork is decorative and should not be necessary to understand service descriptions or complete a project inquiry.

We periodically review important pages and controls as content changes. We prioritize issues that prevent access to service information, navigation, legal content, or communication.

10. Requesting assistance or reporting a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, contact us with the page or section, a description of what happened, the browser or assistive technology used if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format or accommodation that would be helpful. Do not include passwords, medical details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information.

We will acknowledge a reasonable accessibility request and work to provide information or an alternative method within a reasonable period based on the nature of the request and available resources.

11. Statement updates

We may update this Statement as the website, platform, standards, or our accessibility practices change. The date above identifies the most recent revision.
